"Watching someone you love slowly lose the ability to move freely changes how you see health, movement, and everyday choices."

Our Story

Our journey began in 2013, during a family half marathon.

Not long after, injuries forced our parents to stop running. What stayed with us wasn’t the loss of sport, but the gradual loss of independence — the way pain and restricted movement quietly shape daily life.

That moment led us to barefoot movement.

For over 12 years, we practiced barefoot living — running, walking, and moving with minimal footwear. Through experience, we learned something simple but powerful:

the body doesn’t need more cushioning, control, or technology.

It needs space, freedom, and natural movement.

We didn’t choose barefoot running to chase performance or records.

We chose it to heal — first for our parents, then for ourselves, and eventually for others.

Over time, we realized these principles shouldn’t be limited to runners. They belong in everyday life — so people can move comfortably, support healthy legs and hips, and stay independent as they age.

In a world where health is often over-engineered and sold back as luxury, we chose a simpler path — one grounded in nature, experience, and respect for the human body.

That belief became TAO to Freedom.

Our Values

Natural Movement

We believe the body already knows how to move.

Our approach removes interference rather than adding control, allowing natural movement to guide strength, balance, and longevity.

Health Comes First

What touches the body every day matters.

We prioritize natural, non-toxic materials and avoid unnecessary plastic, oil-based synthetics, and harmful dyes — choosing what supports health, not what compromises it.

Care for the Earth

Materials that are better for the body should also be better for the planet.

We design with respect for natural systems, aiming to reduce pollution, excess, and long-term harm.

Everyday Sustainability

Sustainable living should be lived, not displayed.

We believe healthy, natural choices should be accessible and practical — made for daily life, not reserved for luxury or special occasions.

Walking with Love

TAO to Freedom is a way of moving with care —

for ourselves, for others, and for the world we share.

Barefoot. Natural. Raw. Wild by nature.
